The New Entrace
The key planned project is the construction of a new entrance to the Pepř Mine.
A new adit would allow the mine train to leave the mine directly, bypassing the first kilometre of underground passages. This would significantly reduce the duration of the tour and make the mine accessible to visitors with limited mobility. The new entrance would also allow us to focus more on the most attractive parts of the mine and showcase a greater number of its original mining features.
Because of the high cost and complexity of driving a new adit, the project depends entirely on sponsorship and grant funding.
