An Experience Your Team Won't Forget

Are you looking for a unique venue for a company outing, team building event, or meeting with business partners? Join us in the most historically significant gold mining district in the Czech Republic and explore the authentic underground workings of the Pepř Mine, accessible through the Václav Adit.

Depending on your group's preferences, you can choose either the standard tour route or the more challenging underground via ferrata. The standard route extends up to 1,800 metres from the entrance and reaches approximately 200 metres below the surface. Along the way, visitors explore historic mine tunnels, walk across footbridges above underground water, ride a mining train, see scheelite glowing under ultraviolet light, and visit extensive stopes along the legendary gold bearing Šlojíř vein. 

For more adventurous groups, we offer a unique underground via ferrata, the only attraction of its kind in the Czech Republic. The route includes an approximately seventy metre ascent along a secured climbing path to the Upper Level, passage through historic mining stopes, mineral formations illuminated by ultraviolet light, and a visit to the largest excavated chambers of the Pepř Mine. The experience also includes a selection of the most interesting highlights from the standard tour route.

We Can Tailor the Program to Your Requirements 

By prior arrangement, we can adapt your corporate visit to the size, physical abilities, and interests of your group. In addition to a guided presentation on the history of gold mining, geology, and mining technology, the program can be expanded to include, for example: 

  • Displays of minerals and gold ores
  • Specialized geological or historical programs
  • Practical demonstrations of mining activities
  • Light refreshments served directly inside the mine
